Why is it with the number of incredible musicians and artists in the area there are so few opportunities for exposure and support by local media? With that said, I was just informed by the folks at PIXY103 (WPXC) “Cape Cod’s Rock” that some of my songs will be included on their “Homegrown” show. The show airs Sunday’s from 8-10 and is hosted by Rock Babe Suzanne Tonaire.
This show is one of just a handful of opportunities afforded by Boston area media to local artists. By comparison with other local media outlets the work they do at Homegrown is exceptional, being one of the very few radio stations in the Boston area who supported acts like Godsmack and Staind before they hit it big.
